On a winner with Briq

We are absolutely thrilled to have Briq recently announced as a finalist for the UDIA Development of the Year – Small Scale Residential (4-20). We sit amonst some very esteemed company in the finalists and congratulate all for their beautiful contributions to the built environment.

Briq is our latest project to reach completion with residents moving in earlier this year.

The project was designed by Tecture, with landscapes by Jack Merlo and construction by Zeta Building Group.

Get to know the team bringing SDA by Project Friday to life

Critical to our mission with SDA by Project Friday, is bringing it to life with the best minds not only in design but in disability services and advocacy. We are on a mission to do things differently, and using our key pillars we are developing a solution to Specialist Disability Accomodation that has not been seen in Australia before.

We are delighted to have the following partners on board and are thrilled with the incredible insights and expertise they are bringing to our projects.

 

• Architecture and Interior Design: Clare Cousins 

Since 2005 Clare Cousins Architects has been delivering a diverse range of celebrated buildings, places and interior spaces including housing, workplace, retail, cultural and education projects. Engaged in projects large and small, the studio has a particular interest in projects that nurture community.

• Landscape Design: Kate Patterson Landscapes

Kate Patterson is a celebrated Melbourne based landscape architecture studio

• SIL Providers

We are working with a broad range of SIL providers, who understand our approach and value.

• Vocational training and garden therapy: Kevin Heinze Grow

Kevin Heinze Grow’s mission is to be a leader in delivering experiential learning and positive personal development through the use of therapeutic horticulture principles and our natural environment

Project Friday continues to diversify

Our team are delighted to have been appointed to project manage the construction and fit out of an Orthodontist clinic in Murrumbeena on Dandenong Road.

The project will encompass:

• Refurbishment of an existing orthodontic practice
• Construction of a new two story wing
• Expansion of consulting suites and staff amenities
• Basement carpark

One of the strengths of Project Friday is our depth and breadth of experience in working across all facets of the property and development industry. From creating high end homes, building multi residential apartments and townhomes, to bringing to life Specialist Disability Accommodation, all in inner city Melbourne to regional Victoria.

Two new sites for SDA by Project Friday

We are so excited to share that we have secured two incredible locations for the first SDA by Project Friday projects.

Located in the heart of Carnegie, just a short distance from bustling Koornang Road with its incredible culture, as well as the brand new Carnegie train station. The project will be designed by Clare COusins Architects with landscaping by Kate Patterson Landscaping.

The second project – on the other side of town – is in Altona. Home to what we firmly believe to be the most underrated beach in greater Melbourne, participants of this project will enjoy the incredible location, as well as an on-site cafe and nursery offering vocational opportunities for participants.

As a registered NDIS provider, we are passionate about bringing the Project Friday difference to the Specialist Disability Accomodation space.
